Our 3 pt hitch model delivers unprecedented splitting speed from your tractor's hydraulics—up to 3x the speed of the competition. Cycle times range from 3-9 seconds, depending on your tractor. Throw burly hardwood logs up to 24" in diameter onto the heavy-duty log tray and watch your productivity go up by 300%. The splitter attaches in minutes to category 1 hitches with hydraulic couplings and there's no PTO pump to fuss with. For 25-65HP tractors (2,500 PSI recommended for best performance).
All of our Dual-Action Log Splitters use a simple innovation to take a big chunk of time out of log splitting projects. Ordinary splitters split in one direction only, forcing you to reverse the ram and wait until it returns to it's starting point before you can load another log. But with two-way splitting, that waiting game is a thing of the past. And we offer your choice of power: gasoline, electric, or 3-point hitch!

We designed and engineered these Dual-Action models to deliver faster splits no matter how tough the wood.
We've put it all in a compact package made to fit in a corner of your garage when not in use. They weigh less than half of conventional hydraulic splitters, so they are easy for one person to maneuver.
And did we mention they're road towable? Available fenders, tail lights, and ball hitch mean you can tow it to your back forty or all the way across town.

- When picking up at depot, you will need a pickup truck or trailer to accommodate your machine. Most depots will load your machine into your vehicle.
Business Delivery ($209.99) $60.00
- The business you select must have a loading and off-loading facility and accept delivery during normal business hours. You must make arrangements with the business to accept your delivery.
- Business locations could include feed stores, lumber yards, building supply centers, etc.
Standard Home Delivery ($209.99) $60.00
- Your home must be accessible by tractor-trailer, and someone must be home to accept delivery.
- The truck driver is not required to unload your shipment. Additional fees will apply if the driver unloads your machine.
- On the day of delivery, we recommend you have a couple of sturdy 10-foot planks (2" thick x 10" wide, minimum) plus three helpers to help you remove the machine from the truck.
Enhanced Home Delivery ($269.99) $120.00
- Your machine will be removed from the truck by the driver and placed on the ground.
- Someone must be home to accept delivery and your home or driveway must be accessible to a tractor trailer.

- Rush delivery is not available on freight shipments. We ship best method, depending on the delivery method you choose and your location.
- For both standard home delivery and our enhanced home delivery option, after we process your order and it leaves our factory, the freight company will call you to schedule a delivery time. The carrier will usually provide a 3-4 hour delivery window (for example, 8 am to noon).
- If the package arrives damaged, you must note it on the bill of lading. If your machine arrives damaged, call DR customer service at 1-800-376-9637 as soon as possible.

Incredible he says!
My husband has been looking for a log splitter for some time. As a builder, he works hard during the week so spending all day splitting wood wasn't really how he wanted to spend his time. He'd asked friends, looked around.....and was headed toward a 35 ton, $1800 splitter. We do already own a tractor and i saw an ad in Mother Earth news so we checked out the video. Excited about the dual action and not having to wait on a reload time, we ordered it up! It got here and he saw the 13 ton cylinder:(
We had failed to notice that in the specs. Before spending the day finding the right fittings, we actually called in to see whether we made a mistake in ordering such a "little" splitter. I wish we could remember our salesman's name because he assured us we'd stand back and be amazed. Encouraged, we got it set up and he couldn't have described my husband any better. His words were: "It splits like a big dog!"
My husband can not believe how quick and fast this is. Even the gnarly stuff. We have olive and cottonwood on our property. Without a machine, some of it is un-splittable. Not anymore! Tonite, he went out there just for the fun of it! He has piles of wood around the property already. It'll be a warm winter with extra time for fun now!
We'd buy it again and will absolutely recommend it to our friends! Thanks DR for an awesome product.
