The 15-Ton DR Dual-Action Gas Splitter (shown with optional road tow package accessory) is tough and fast enough to split a winter's worth of dense hardwood in a weekend. The Briggs & Stratton 900 Series overhead valve engine produces an astounding 9 ft. lbs. torque for all-day power and low vibration. The X2 Ram doubles your productivity with cycle times of less than 12 seconds. Available electric start and road-tow kits round out this fast and powerful alternative to conventional hydraulic splitters. The gas model may also be converted to electric power with our optional power conversion kit.
All of our Dual-Action Log Splitters use a simple innovation to take a big chunk of time out of log splitting projects. Ordinary splitters split in one direction only, forcing you to reverse the ram and wait until it returns to it's starting point before you can load another log. But with two-way splitting, that waiting game is a thing of the past. And we offer your choice of power: gasoline, electric, or 3-point hitch!

We designed and engineered these Dual-Action models to deliver faster splits no matter how tough the wood.
We've put it all in a compact package made to fit in a corner of your garage when not in use. They weigh less than half of conventional hydraulic splitters, so they are easy for one person to maneuver.
And did we mention they're road towable? Available fenders, tail lights, and ball hitch mean you can tow it to your back forty or all the way across town.

Because the wedge travels in both directions you can split twice as fast as conventional splitters. Plus, you don't spend half your time waiting for the ram to return before you can make another split!

The hydraulic pump generates constant pressure of 4000psi in the cylinder. Steel piston compression seals provide consistent power with no leaks year after year.

16" tires are DOT approved allowing towing across town or to any part of your property, even in muddy or snowy conditions.

- We ship to thousands of trucking terminals across the U.S. During checkout, submit your zip code to see a list of the trucking depots closest to your location.
- When picking up at depot, you will need a pickup truck or trailer to accommodate your machine. Most depots will load your machine into your vehicle.
Business Delivery ($209.99) $60.00
- The business you select must have a loading and off-loading facility and accept delivery during normal business hours. You must make arrangements with the business to accept your delivery.
- Business locations could include feed stores, lumber yards, building supply centers, etc.
Standard Home Delivery ($209.99) $60.00
- Your home must be accessible by tractor-trailer, and someone must be home to accept delivery.
- The truck driver is not required to unload your shipment. Additional fees will apply if the driver unloads your machine.
- On the day of delivery, we recommend you have a couple of sturdy 10-foot planks (2" thick x 10" wide, minimum) plus three helpers to help you remove the machine from the truck.
Enhanced Home Delivery ($269.99) $120.00
- Your machine will be removed from the truck by the driver and placed on the ground.
- Someone must be home to accept delivery and your home or driveway must be accessible to a tractor trailer.

- Rush delivery is not available on freight shipments. We ship best method, depending on the delivery method you choose and your location.
- For both standard home delivery and our enhanced home delivery option, after we process your order and it leaves our factory, the freight company will call you to schedule a delivery time. The carrier will usually provide a 3-4 hour delivery window (for example, 8 am to noon).
- If the package arrives damaged, you must note it on the bill of lading. If your machine arrives damaged, call DR customer service at 1-800-376-9637 as soon as possible.

This Product is Fantastic and is easy to operate and use.
My review is great and I could have not made a better investment in a machine. I have looked around for many years and I finally found one that would meet my expectations and get the job done. I would highly recommend this machine to any one that is cutting wood and is in need of an extra hand. WHAT A GREAT INVESTMENT.

Love my DR log splitter!!
After decades of splitting my firewood by hand, I can't tell you how much I appreciate my new DR log splitter. I can now do in an hour of very little effort what it used to take me all day to do and felt like it damned near killed me. The double action on this beast is a real time saver too, no waiting for the ram to return before loading another log. What a great machine, it will most likely add years to my life, LOL. A huge thanks to my wife, Joyce. This was an awesome Christmas gift that will help keep us all warm. :-)
The DR dealership where it was purchased, Gillis Equipment in Hanson, MA., are just the greatest people to work with. Warm, caring personable folks, they are now my dealership of choice.

Seems to be a great Splitter
I have only had this for a short time, but what I have used it, it will handle anything that I put on it. Comes full assembled, just uncrate add fluids and start splitting wood. I splite a full cord in about 45 min. This sure beats splitting by hand.
